My name is Edward Partridge, a guitar teacher and musician based in North London.
I provide electric guitar, acoustic guitar, bass guitar and ukulele lessons both in-person across Barnet and North London and online for students worldwide.
My journey with the guitar began over 15 years ago and it quickly became a lifelong passion. Learning to play transformed my confidence and opened the door to opportunities I never expected.
That experience ultimately led me to create EP Guitar, with the aim of helping others discover the same enjoyment and benefits that music can bring.
I teach students through private one-to-one lessons, both online and in person, and I also teach guitar in several schools across the Barnet and North London area.
Students may choose to learn their favourite songs, develop specific techniques, or follow a recognised graded syllabus such as Rockschool or Trinity.
Alongside teaching, I continue to perform regularly. I currently play in two cover bands and have performed with a number of groups and live events over the years.
My musical influences include Green Day, Metallica and Alter Bridge, all of whom have inspired my approach to guitar playing and teaching.
At EP Guitar, the aim is simple:
to help students develop real musical skills, grow in confidence, and enjoy the process of learning to play.
In addition to teaching, I am also available for session work, dep work, performances, bands and live events.
