My journey with the guitar began over 15 years ago when I first learned to play the electric guitar.
What started as curiosity, became a lifelong passion.
Over time I expanded my playing to include acoustic guitar, bass guitar and ukulele, developing a deep appreciation for how each instrument brings something different to music.
Learning the guitar has had a profound impact on my life.
It has built confidence, encouraged creativity and opened doors to opportunities I never expected. More importantly, it showed me how powerful learning a musical instrument can be for personal growth.
That experience led me to create EP Guitar.
EP Guitar was founded to share that same passion with others through structured, engaging guitar lessons.
Whether students want to learn electric guitar, acoustic guitar, bass guitar or ukulele, the aim is always the same:
to make learning music enjoyable, motivating and rewarding.
The goal is simple – to help students build confidence, develop real musical skills, and experience the same enjoyment that the guitar has brought to my life.

The Electric guitar is one of the most expressive and versatile instruments in modern music.
From rock and blues to metal, pop and indie, the electric guitar sits at the centre of iconic songs.
Electric guitar lessons focus on developing the essential skills needed to play with confidence and creativity.
Students learn techniques such as power chords, scales, bending, vibrato, lead guitar phrasing, rhythm playing, and improvisation.
Beginners learn chord shapes and rhythm patterns, while more advanced players develop soloing ability, fretboard knowledge, and stylistic expression, developing their style as their technique and understanding improves.
Lessons combine technical development with learning real songs so students stay motivated while building strong musical foundations.

The Bass guitar is the rhythmic and harmonic foundation of modern music.
The bass guitar connects the drums and the harmony of a song, creating groove, depth and movement.
Bass guitar lessons focus on timing, groove and musical awareness.
Students learn techniques such as fingerstyle playing, slap bass, scales, bassline construction and rhythm development.
Beginners learn the fundamentals of rhythm, simple basslines and fretboard navigation, while more advanced students develop stylistic techniques used in rock, funk, jazz and pop music.
The bass guitar is often an excellent instrument for new musicians. It allows students to play with others quickly and develop strong musical timing.

With its warm natural sound and versatility across many genres, the acoustic guitar is often the perfect starting point for learning music.
Acoustic guitar lessons focus on the core skills that allow players to accompany songs and develop musical confidence.
Students learn chord progressions, strumming patterns, rhythm control, fingerstyle techniques and song structure.
As players progress, lessons introduce more advanced concepts such as fingerpicking patterns, dynamic control, alternate tunings and musical interpretation.
Acoustic guitar is also an excellent instrument for those interested in song-writing or performing solo.
At EP Guitar, lessons are designed to be fun, flexible and tailored to each student.
Whether you want to learn electric guitar, acoustic guitar, bass guitar or ukulele, lessons are adapted to suit your experience, musical interests and personal goals.
Students of all ages and ability levels are welcome. Some students come to learn their favourite songs, while others want to develop specific techniques such as chords, rhythm playing, fingerstyle, scales or improvisation.
Lessons can also follow recognised graded music syllabuses, including Rockschool and Trinity, for students who wish to work towards formal music qualifications and structured progression.
For others, a more personalised approach may be the best fit — focusing on creativity, musical confidence and enjoying the process of learning an instrument.
Whatever your goals may be, the aim of every lesson is simple:
to help you develop real musical skills while enjoying the journey of learning to play.
At EP Guitar, lessons are designed to fit around your schedule and learning style.
We offer electric guitar, acoustic guitar, bass guitar and ukulele lessons both online and in person, giving students the flexibility to learn in the way that suits them best.
